Profile

Currently, I am a professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Nanjing, China. I received my BS degree in mathematics from GC University, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2011 and got my MS in 2015 from HITEC University, Taxila, Pakistan. Then, one year I worked for a college as a lecturer in mathematics. I received my PhD degree from Peking University in 2020. I received many prestigious awards during my stay at PKU. I completed my Postdoctoral research at Fudan University in 2022. I am the author/coauthor of more than 55 peer-reviewed technical papers with SCI citations > 2.8K. I am interested in computational/applied mathematics, more precisely nonlinear physical models governed by integer/non-integer order differential equations, and development/extensions of mathematical methods (spectral/numerical). I developed several extensions to spectral algorithms and successfully applied them to a class of nonlinear problems that arise in the mechanism and engineering sciences. I learned about Finsler geometry and proved the stability of closed geodesics on positively curved manifolds.
