Personal Profile

Rasool Hafezi, Ph.D., is an associate professor at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Isfahan in 2012. Dr. Hafezi continued his academic journey as a postdoctoral researcher and later as a senior postdoctoral researcher at IPM-Isfahan branch. Over the past decade, his research has primarily focused on the fascinating area of representation theory of algebras.  Dr. Hafezi has made significant contributions to this field, having published 34 research papers in renowned international journals. His works have appeared in prestigious publications including Science China Mathematics (3 papers), Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society, the Canadian Journal of Mathematics, Mathematical Research Letters, the Journal of Algebra, the Journal of Pure and Applied Algebra, and the Michigan Mathematical Journal.  In addition, he has co-supervised the research of 7 Ph.D. students. Dr. Hafezi’s dedication to advancing mathematical knowledge has led him to visit esteemed institutions such as the Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques (IHES) in Paris, France, the University of Bielefeld in Germany, and the Université de Picardie in Amiens, France.  Dr. Hafezi has recently been appointed as an editor for the Bulletin of the Iranian Mathematical Society.
