I was born in Shangluo, Shaanxi Province, China. The master's degree was obtained from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Doctor's degree was obtained from Nanjing Institute of Soil Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. I have been employed in the School of Ecology and Applied Meteorology, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology since July 2018. From November 2021 to November 2023, I had carried out postdoctoral research in the University of Gottingen, Germany. I have been engaged in the development and application of biological nitrogen fixation green manure for a long time, as well as the research on the impact of high-quality green manure such as Azolla on agricultural and global carbon and nitrogen cycling.
Now, I'm exploring the mechanism of sexual differentiation of Azolla spores, the mechanism of symbiotic cyanobacteria assembled into sporangia and leaf cavities, the mechanism of sporulation of Azolla, the mechanism of Azolla increasing soil organic carbon and organic nitrogen, and the mechanism of Azolla for carbon sequestration and greenhouse gas emission reduction in rice fields.
I have presided over a National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund project and published 6 SCI papers as the first author (5 papaers in Field Crop Research and 1 papaer in Environmental Pollution), as well as 4 SCSD papers (Chinese journals) as the corresponding author.
