Dr. Chengsheng Yuan received his Ph.D. degree in Meteorological Information Technology from Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, China, in 2019. Currently, he is an associate professor and master supervisor of Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology, China. From 2017 to 2019, Dr. Yuan studied in University of Windsor for joint doctoral training. From 2019 till now, he is a postdoctoral fellow at University of Windsor, Canada. His supervisor is Q. M. Jonathan Wu, a tenured professor at University of Windsor, Canada. His research interests include multimedia information security, information hiding, meteorological big data mining and forensics.
He has been engaged in the research of liveness forensics theory and detection method of human biometrics for a long time, completed a series of national/provincial/university-level engineering scientific research projects, and made systematic work in human liveness forensics theory, integrated detection software development, coverless information hiding technology and other aspects. He has guided his students to win the third prize of the 6th Jiangsu "Internet +" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the award of excellent reviewer of ARJM journal, the second prize of Jiangsu Information Security Science and Technology Achievement Exhibition, the best paper award of The International Conference on Cloud Computing Security, the University Youth May 4th Medal, the University Outstanding Class Teacher and other honors and titles. He has presided over 6 national, provincial and municipal projects, and participated in the research of NSFC Joint Fund, NSFC General Fund, NSFC Youth Fund and Jiangsu Provincial general project. He is Chairman of the 8th International conference on artificial intelligence and security workshop. At present, he has published and accepted 20 papers in academic journals and conferences at home and abroad, including IEEE TSMC, IEEE TCDS, IJCAI, Computer Applications, etc., 2 approved invention patents, 8 software copyrights.
Dr. Yuan enrolls graduate students and undergraduate students. The research team has established good cooperative relations with many universities at home and abroad, and can assist in studying with well-known tutors in key universities at home and abroad.
