博士期间主要从事纳米材料及金属催化剂的制备与应用研究，涉及催化剂活性与催化剂还原度、金属分散度、表面酸碱性、污染物气体吸附强度之间的关系；目前，主要从事环境光催化材料开发及在水中污染物（如染料、双酚A等有机物的）降解研究。
