陈爽，博士生导师。主要从事城市生态、人居环境与区域规划方面研究。国际城市生态学会（SURE）咨询委员会成员（2021-2025），中国地理学会第13届理事，中国城市规划学会区域规划与城市经济学委会委员。科技部重点研发计划项目首席科学家。近年研究着重围绕长三角地区城镇快速大规模扩展的生态环境影响过程，开展城市空间形态可持续性的跨学科研究，代表性成果包括：提出了中国紧凑城市的绿地景观综合规划范式，以及紧凑城市形态与生态空间耦合关系的表征方法；创新城市综合承载力空间异质性评估方法，并应用于多个大城市的承载力规划；开拓了非洲城市化研究，在非洲非正式住区发展及其环境影响方面取得进展。参与《中国城市群》等4部专著编写，在包括SCI/SSCI一区期刊在内的专业刊物发表中英文论文120余篇。担任美国土木工程协会期刊Journal of Urban Planning and Development 编委，为Nature Communications, Landscape and Urban Planning 等国际国内期刊审稿人。主持国家重点研发计划项目、国家自然科学基金与联合国环境署合作项目等多项。
CHEN Shuang – PhD (HKU), Professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Geographical Sciences, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. Member of the Council of Geographical Society of China, and member of the Regional Planning and Urban Economics Committee of the Chinese Society of Urban Planning, member of the Chinese Branch of the International Society for Urban Ecology (SURE-China).
Her primary research focuses on urban ecology and human settlements, urban sustainable development, and regional planning. She emphasizes interdisciplinary studies on the ecological environmental impact processes of rapid and large-scale urban expansion in the Yangtze River Delta region, integrating remote sensing imagery, network and multimedia data, GIS spatial analysis, and machine learning methods to explore the sustainability of urban spatial forms. In recent years, she has expanded her research into African urbanization, making progress in studies on informal settlement development in Africa and the water-food-ecology nexus at the river basin scale. She has participated in the compilation of monographs such as 'Chinese Urban Agglomerations' and published over 150 Chinese and English papers. She has led multiple projects including national key R&D programs, National Natural Science Foundation projects, and collaborative projects with the United Nations Environment Programme.
