Wei Hu, Male, Ph.D., Master's Supervisor. 
Wei Hu is currently with the School of Artificial Intelligence (Future Technology School), Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, affiliated with the Department of Big Data and Data Science and the Data Science & Intelligent Equipment Research Center.

He received his Ph.D. degree in October 2024 from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (Computer-Aided Engineering and Visualization Laboratory). He obtained his M.Sc. degree in June 2020 from Nanyang Technological University, and his B.Eng. degree in July 2019 from Central South University, China.

He has published more than 20 high-quality papers in prestigious journals and conferences, among which 8 are first-author or corresponding-author papers, including top-tier journals in the field such as Building and Environment and Energy and Buildings. His work has received over hundreds of citations on Google Scholar, and he was awarded the 2022 Best Paper Award by the journal Buildings. He has presided over 7 projects, including the Youth Fund Project of the Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation and enterprise- and institution-commissioned projects.

His main research directions and interests include artificial intelligence-related fields such as time series forecasting, digital twins, and social network analysis, with specific applications in predictive maintenance and fault diagnosis, AI + meteorology, and wind and solar power forecasting.

Recruitment Information

Dr. Hu welcomes motivated students interested in deep learning, time-series forecasting, and related research directions to join his group. The team maintains close collaborations with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in both publications and research projects.
